Mini Basketweave is Chilewich’s signature Basketweave in half time. Instead of four yarns over four, Mini Basketweave is two yarns over two, resulting in a quieter, less textural surface. Mini Basketweave enhances and elevates every dining occasion.

Cleaning

  • Cleaning is easy. Simply wipe the mat with soap and water, and allow to air dry.

  • Mats with visible food residue can be sprayed with soapy water, scrubbed with a soft-bristle brush, or soaked in soapy water and then rinsed.

  • Do not clean with alcohol-based cleaning agents, as they can break down TerraStrand yarns over time.

  • Citrus-based cleaning agents are also not recommended, as they can cause discoloration.

  • Do not wash in dishwasher or washing machine. Do not iron or dry with heat. A high-temperature sanitizer may be used up to once per week.

Storage

  • Store Chilewich placemats flat.

  • Table runners may be rolled.

  • Do not store wet or allow mats to fold or crease.

  • In case of creasing, steam using a handheld garment steamer on the lowest heat setting.
