Matches in Tin - Color Wheel

PLEASE NOTE: the tinned matches will be available mid-November.

Color Wheel Safety Matches are housed in a reusable sliding lid tin featuring Philipp Otto Runge’s historic color wheel — one of the earliest attempts to organize color theory into a harmonious visual system. Created in the early 1800s by the German painter and theorist, Runge’s pioneering study explored the relationships between color, light, and perception, influencing generations of artists and designers that followed.

Containing 100 safety matches with multi-color tips, each tin features striker paper housed within a custom brass holder on the front, combining everyday practicality with timeless decorative design.
