Stars are Fire Classic Tatine Candles - Five Scents

Tatine, one of our premier artisanal candle makers, crafts complex, layered, intoxicating scents.  They are made of natural black wax with nary a trace of petroleum-derived paraffin and they are phthalate-free.  Poured into handblown, reusable smoked glass vessels, they are wrapped in accordian-folded tissue and artfully boxed in origami-style folded boxes with gold-foiled labels.  Each candle contains a gold-printed card that explains the scent profile of the candle. 

The 8 oz classic size will burn up to 50 hours.

Bitter Orange & Lavender - Tart Seville Orange oil, marmalade, and orange bitters are beautifully blended with Barreme lavender. Finished with chalky soil and floral notes and a hint of mango extract. 

Fig - An herbaceous aroma with boozy dried fruits, sweet sunburnt red fruit, and mulberry. Woody crushed fig tree leaves infuse with aromatic greens. 

Forest Floor - Dappled sunlight in wild places where smells move through space and curl like smoke. An earth perfume with mushroom nuances, mists of rain soaked ferns, and the earthen smell of dark green moss covering the cool, damp dirt of the forest floor. A dreamlike atmosphere emulating the forest and all its beauty.

Garden Mint - A bouquet of highly aromatic mint leaves and sweet spearmint accented with fresh, sparkling, and spicy pink peppercorns and lemon tea. Tatine added the very special extract of Schinus Molle to the blend, which is ethically harvested and distilled near the Molle trees in Lima, Peru to capture the scent of the berries. The essential oil is then purified in France by a soft molecular distillation process resulting in an incredibly luscious and herbal aromatic garden mint with the scent of berries, ginger, eucalyptus, and soft jasmine petals. 

Woodsmoke - Sweet and woody perfumes set ablaze. A cedarwood and fir balsam olfaction, warmed by fragrant forest resins and natural clove oils arranged in a darkly enchanting woodpile bouquet.
